Raygun Gothic 50s style “Army Recruitment” Poster
An experiment where I wanted to understand the dynamics of propaganda and marketing tactics, using the character Liberty Prime from the Fallout game franchise as the base.
I wanted to replicate the overall feel of urgency, respect, and pride that these sort of posters have always helped me feel, and this was important to accomplish, especially when it was based on the recruitment advertisements of the Cold War, where tensions were high and the future was always uncertain.
Through using striking text that stands out and grabs the viewer’s attention, I think it came out very nicely. This old style has always been a favorite of mine, and I am glad that Photoshop allowed me to help dive into it a bit more than I had thought.

50s style “Noir/Sci-Fi Thriller” B-Movie Poster
My attempt at creating another poster in Photoshop, that captures the excitement and curiosity that these old detective films have to offer, once again using characters and events from the Fallout franchise as the base.
With this being more an experiment on how lighting and effects can set a certain mood, I am proud of the visuals, but I realize that the text clashes heavily with the extreme lights and darks of the whole image. Whether it be a issue of its size or the chosen color, or both, I will have to keep in mind.

Superhero/Horror Movie Poster
Created just for fun, using titles, characters, and events from DC Comics and Warner Bros., this was also my first foray into designing with Canva, seeing for myself its intricate design features and abilities that Photoshop did not have readily available.

MysteriousStrangerVA Voice Actor Banner
This is a banner that I made myself in Photoshop, really leaning into the 50s style advertising image and layout scheme for quickly and effectively advertising one’s services on Twitter.
I wanted to advertise in the same style as the old radio show advertisements, for the most vital part about these shows were piquing curiosity about the voice of the host and what they would hear. Complete with the little glowing icons and their respective addresses, everything a visitor needs to know is right here.
