Prompt
The Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts is a nonprofit center that is highly involved in finding and cultivating the culture of the city. From finding new talent to hosting events and engaging in local media, its focus on creativity is immense. BOPA came to our class with one challenge: to create a fictional mobile application. Its purpose was to help smartphone users find fitting places for potential murals, and use their phone to photograph any place they wished; there, they would use the application to sketch and upload their artwork to their network for BOPA to review, and for anyone to see.

Our Process, and Solution
First, my team and I decided to sketch out some concepts on paper, taking inspiration from our favorite mobile apps and seeing what had worked, resulting in our paper prototypes. For the paper prototypes, we made sure to encourage maximum usage with minimal effort, since our target demographic was very broad.

When our team got approval from BOPA, we went on to the next step, designing our app more intricately, as time went on, eventually creating a in-depth mockup of the application that, in the end, was a product visually pleasing to the eyes, one that accompanied and guided the user through every possible action, and one with which BOPA was highly impressed.
